Army
The following forces exist in Thurait only and are mentioned according to hierarchy. Each faction has their own commander that is responsible for communicating with the king/queen and the enforcer.
Enforcer: the highest rank in Thurait’s army and can lead it during wars. Enforcer is responsible to keep the flow of information to the king/queen and protect their best interests. He/she works with the highest-ranking officers and is often sent to torture and gather information. In the hierarchy the enforcer is equal with the sa-noir.
Sa-noir: the most elite group in the united kingdom of Logarain, trained not only in what shaighiúr and geátrei are best at but also in politics and ruling. Sa-noir can dethrone the current ruler based on a vote of distrust among themselves. They are assassins, lesser mages, scouts, soldiers, and politicians. Their ranks are usually kept secret outside the organisation. They can but do not have to listen to the enforcer’s orders, as they are supposed to answer only to the monarch.
Katravn general: oversees Thurait’s forces and information flow, taking away some of the burden from the enforcer. The Katravn general is responsible for the logistics connected with all the forces below him/her.
Geátrei: a special unit of Thurait soldiers trained for scouting, silent assassinations, collecting information, and survival, known for their work with poison and the ability to talk to each other through sign language (a language also known to the sa-noir)
Shaighiúr: Thurait’s special forces, experts in weapons and general warfare. They are trained from the young age of about eight, unlike the regular soldiers.
Regular soldiers: the basic forces of soldiers that have been trained later in life.

Balaar: the One and Only God.
Zaras: priestesses of Balaar who serve as nuns within Logarain and as spreaders of the faith within Thurait; each lord’s house has at least one zara as per Logarainian law.
Other
Ver-dagur: a meeting held every two or three years by the king of Logarain to meet and judge the young lords and ladies aged nineteen to twenty-three; usually held in Sharen-la, a village close to Logarain’s capital, Karu. During Ver-dagur, lords and ladies are forced to show what they are capable of and discuss the matters of the kingdom before meeting with the king. The whole process takes about one and a half months.
Lathir: the universal name for a cursed land that is believed to be created by a “bleeding god” during the gods’ wars in the second era (before the gods were said to have disappeared). It is said that during the night monsters come out of the abyss. No one who enters a lathir at night comes back.
